Most of their non-work hours are “volunteering” as “private chauffeurs” to their children; taking their children to and from athletic, academic and social activities. Occasionally, they “volunteer” for “logistics support”; towing sailboats to and from regattas, unloading, rigging and reloading said boats; and delivering occasional forgotten academic, artistic, and athletic supplies to school mid-day.
You may also find Keen and Genevieve providing “guidance counseling”: making sure the homework process stays on target and providing ongoing room organization support.
